Wall mounted air conditioning systems are the most cost effective and popular type of systems as they are usually the easiest unit to install.
As described, they are installed on the wall, normally at a high level and sometimes require an additional pump to remove water.
Floor mounted air conditioning systems are very similar to wall mounted units, but are just installed at floor level. They are slightly more expensive to purchase but usually cost and take the same amount of time to install as a wall mounted unit.
They are a great option for people with low ceilings, minimal wall space or for conservatories.
Ceiling Cassette Air conditioning units are often a popular choice for offices as they can be mounted centrally in a room, allowing for the most even distribution of air across the whole space, especially when there are no walls to mount an air conditioner on in the centre of the office.
The units can be installed in a false ceiling by removing an area of tiles / grid with the fascia of the unit exposed. They can also be suspended from exposed ceilings with the option to install a “collar” for a neater finish.
Ducted air conditioning systems are the most discreet choice for any space. They provide cooling / heating through a series of grilles (we have several grille options available) usually installed in a ceiling but can also be wall, floor or cupboard mounted. The grilles are connected to “ductwork” which leads to a centralised unit. Ultimately it is this unit which supplies the areas with the required temperature control. These systems are the most suitable option for distributing cooling / heating to multiple areas.
Multi split air conditioning systems have one outdoor unit running multiple indoor units. If outdoor space is limited, if you don’t want a multitude of outdoor air conditioning units or the electrical capacity of the building is limited, then these types of systems are a great option. These systems can also help reduce the cost of installation in multiple areas.
